Varied if not random functional movements done at high intensity. The CrossFit class focuses on the Workout of the Day (WOD) that is designed by our staff. The WODs are scaled and modified to each athlete’s level and performed at the highest intensity that the individual can sustain with good form and proper technique.
The program is required for ALL new athletes. The curriculum is structured to ensure knowledge and safety in the methodologies used at CrossFit 215. Some athletes may be capable of “passing out” of this programming depending on level and experience. For a more detailed description, please see our Membership Options.
Partner Workouts (Currently on Saturdays)
These classes will be designed in a team or partner format. You will be paired or grouped when you come to class and learn how to work with others to accomplish tasks. Partner workouts are notoriously some of the most fun and competitive classes that encourage teamwork and sportsmanship.
Endurance Workouts (Currently on Sundays)
The programming for this class is more endurance focused. The aim is to improve aerobic capacity through running, rowing, and biking. This class is meant to supplement weekly CrossFit workouts or be used as active recovery.
The CF215 Barbell Club program will be offered in 8 week cycles various times during the year. This program is for the athletes that want to “lift heavy things.” There is limited conditioning involved here, and the focus is on power and strength.
The competition program is for those interested in competing in the sport of CrossFit. There are pre-requisites to enter this stage (skill development and strength). There is a greater demand in this level placed not only on ability, but commitment, and lifestyle. This is for the serious athlete who wants to compete at the local, regional and national level.
