Brendan grew up in Gaithersburg, MD and moved the Philadelphia suburbs shortly after his college career. While earning his degree, he was given the opportunity to travel and play varsity football for Lafayette college for 4 years. It was there he learned a lot about strength training and athletic development while training for football.
After hearing about CrossFit through a friend, Brendan started researching the sport to learn more about it. He was certified and began coaching at 215 in March 2012. He continues to set personal goals for his CrossFit career including learning more about nutrition and better understanding how portion control is important for proper training as opposed to football sized portions.
